New blog post – Local businessman calls on public to embrace new Blackburn Market

Leading Blackburn businessman, Phil Ainsworth, is calling on people to embrace the new Blackburn Market when it opens in May.

Phil, of Ainsworth’s Jewelers on Darwen Street, was speaking in his latest town centre blog, found below.

The local businessman – also a member of the Blackburn town centre partnership – spoke about the need to back local trade and called on people to back Blackburn as the town centre’s exciting plans continue to unfold.

Personally I dont think Mr Ainsworth or anyone else for that matter, has anything to be concerned about… yes there’s been problems and unfortunate time lapses and issues but that’s life! We have to be positive and make the experience of the new market opening, a happy, fun, memorable day for all the people who visit… Positivity has got to be the order for the future. At the end of the day this lovely shopping place and town belongs to the people, so come on you guys lets make Blackburn retail heaven… Good Luck Everyone!

I don’t actually live in Blackburn, nor work there, but the company that I do work for (in Preston) is a marketing agency who happen to have a number of clients in Blackburn and Darwen.
